Hello friends, long time no talk. I’m sure you’ve noticed I haven’t posted in a almost a whole month! This is because I have now started interning.
Recently, I have been piecing together the beginning of my new series, “YOUTH”.
This is a photo/interview series I created which began with one simple question, “Does youth really end?” This is about showcasing youth as it really is, exciting, painful, beautiful, ugly, and everything in between. The following video is just a few of the photos I have collected for this project.
(the song is Garden by SZA)
I can’t wait to share all the photos and interviews with you!
all my love,
Hello my people. Let me just say, the month of May has been one of the longest, most difficult months of my life. While I really have no desire to get into specifics right now, I’m sure you’ve realized, I have not been posting too much. Actually, to be honest, I haven’t been posting at all.
To make up for it, I’m working really hard to put together a little online mag full of photos and little messages for you to enjoy. This post is a quick preview of some of the content.
Welcome to a little preview of, “BAM. ur Daydreams.”, I hope you enjoy.
All the following words and photos by me.
(except color swatches and patterns, obviously)
“BAM. ur Daydreams”, will be out around June 15th. I haven’t decided what platform I will be publishing on, but make sure to keep up with my social media (this blog and my instagram @ma10ia, for details)
my whole heart,
Music is an absolute essential in my life. I’m not sure I would function correctly without it. Today I’ve spent the day working on playlists on my Spotify, @ma10ia, you can find all of them there, but I decided to share part of my favorite playlist here with you all. Along with the songs, some pictures to emphasize the feeeeeelz. (pictures not mine)
Not in That Way-Sam Smith
Eternal Sunshine-Jhene Aiko
Munny Right-Jon Bellion
Don’t Wanna Be Your Girl-Wet
I Need a Forest Fire-James Blake, Bon Iver
I Wanna Be Yours- Arctic Monkeys
Basic Instinct- The Acid
Needed Me- Rihanna
These are some of my favorites, something about each of these songs just makes me feel comfortable and, glowy. I’m sure that doesn’t make sense to everyone, but if you’ve ever felt that way you know what I’m talking about. Music is my world and it brings me a joy that I can’t replace with anything. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
